As you know, i have been in a philosophy class for the last half year, and it has been occupying alot of my time, both schoolwise and mentally. any ways, we went over some things that i found to be interesting. Did you know that all philoshopical thought can be coalesced into three periods? basically there are the pre modern - starting from the early reachs of man to around the 1600s, modern - 1600s to 1950s, and the post modern - 1950s to current. With each of these periods, there is an essential thought. Pre modern had the belief in spirit, relgious thought if you would, modern concerns itself with he physical world and post modern is basically nihilistic.
in any case, the one i respect most is the premodern. to me, it seems to say there is more depth in the world and that everything has a little bit extra to it and the post modern issues are the ones i detest. Post modern seems to disregard all things, knowledge, scirpture, art and so on.
In any case, this is really just me talking about what i learned. Take what you read. enjoy it, live with it, whatever. I kinda lost interest in talking about it. (i also kinda fogot my point.)
p.s i recognize the fact that i haven't put much up of ANY THING, and for those who are waiting to see what im doing, i apologize, though i know there aren't many of you. I've had a great influx of ideas to add for stories.
